AP Couriers ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AP Couriers mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information from drivers ("you") who use the App.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you log in to the App, we collect your email address and authentication credentials to verify your identity and associate you with your driver account.

Location Data

The App collects precise location data (GPS coordinates) from your device. Location data is collected:

• In the foreground when you perform order actions such as confirming, marking enroute, arriving, starting, or completing an assignment
• In the background during active shifts, even when the App is closed or not in use, to continuously track delivery progress and provide accurate ETAs

Location data collection begins when you start a shift and ends when you complete the associated order. Location is not collected when you are not on an active shift.

Device Information

We collect device type, operating system version, app version, and a device token for the purpose of delivering push notifications about your assignments.

Order Activity Data

We collect timestamps and GPS coordinates associated with order status changes (e.g., confirmed, enroute, arrived, started, completed) to maintain accurate records of delivery operations.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify your identity and manage your driver account
• Track delivery progress during active shifts in real time
• Provide accurate estimated arrival times to dispatchers and customers
• Record arrival and departure times at job sites
• Send push notifications about new assignments, reminders, and order updates
• Calculate settlement amounts for completed orders
• Maintain operational records for business purposes

Information Sharing

Your information is shared only with AP Couriers dispatchers and management for the purpose of coordinating and managing deliveries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data Retention

We retain your location and order activity data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy and to comply with our legal and business obligations.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices

• Location permissions: You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings. Note that revoking location access will prevent the App from tracking deliveries during your shifts.
• Push notifications: You can disable push notifications through your device settings.
• Account: Contact AP Couriers management to request deletion of your account and associated data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or other means.
